Throughout his career, he has excelled in performing various accounting functions, conducting financial and compliance, Sarbanes Oxley audits and reviews, evaluating internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and providing financial consulting services. His expertise spans diverse sectors, including nonprofit organizations, publicly listed companies, independent federal agencies, and commercial entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining the Council for Opportunity in Education in 2014, Wendell served as an audit manager at Ernst &amp; Young, where he oversaw team building, staff management, client relationships, engagement performance, and quality assurance.
