Earlier this year, the DOL announced significant increases set to take effect starting <strong>July 1, 2024<\/strong>. The minimum salary threshold will rise to $43,888 annually, impacting the eligibility for overtime pay among affected employees.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, another proposed increase to $58,656 annually is slated for <strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong>, pending the outcome of current legal challenges in Texas.
